In the very heart of Vilnius Old Town, the reborn Carmelite Monastery “Gates of Dawn” garden has been opened. This is a sacred place, part of the shrine, intended for rest, reflection, and spiritual renewal. The garden stretches along Vilnius’ old defensive wall, dating back to the 16th century and featuring Gothic and Renaissance elements. It is a unique example of defensive architecture in Lithuania, a fragment of which has survived to this day.
