UAB Korgas

Our team, in collaboration with architect Rūta Irena Klimavičienė from the Institute of Design and Restoration, contributed to the revitalization of this historic site by installing a lighting system that highlights the beauty and value of its architecture.

Lighting solutions:

The façades are illuminated with iGuzzini Light Up Wall Washer fixtures embedded in the pavement and iPro wall-mounted luminaires.
Trees are lit with Light Up ground-recessed fixtures, subtly emphasizing the texture and structure of the greenery.
The dome of St. Stanislaus Kostka Chapel is accentuated by directional Palco InOut projectors.

Benches are illuminated with integrated LED strips.

The lighting solutions not only ensure a safe environment during the dark hours but also create an atmosphere that allows people to experience history in a new light — quite literally — and to discover the city’s heritage through the perspective of illumination.
Visit and see for yourself how restoration combined with quality lighting transforms the perception of architecture. This project demonstrates why it's so important to renovate and preserve heritage – it serves as a city’s calling card, attracting not only tourists but also engaging residents.
Special thanks to Rasa Rožanskienė, Project Manager at the Property Management and Services Center of Vilnius University, for her collaboration in the courtyard renewal. Together, we implemented a lighting project that is both functionally effective and architecturally sensitive.

Working in collaboration with the Korgas team, the lighting solutions helped both highlight and unify the buildings of the K. Sirvydas Courtyard, which represent different architectural periods, into a cohesive and visitor-friendly whole. Thoughtful illumination of trees and elements of small-scale architecture further enhanced the distinct character of the space. The lighting also tactfully revealed discovered architectural relics, subtly emphasizing them within the overall context of the courtyard.
