The flow of visitors to the
Beacon of Happiness naturally forms an ascending route up the hill. To subtly highlight this path and ensure safety during nighttime hours,
Neri Spa Piktor Bollard luminaires were chosen – elegant, durable, and designed for landscape integration. These fixtures blend seamlessly with the natural environment, are gentle on the eyes, and do not contribute to light pollution.
The monument itself – a 14-meter-high obelisk – is illuminated using
iGuzzini Palco InOut LED luminaires mounted on poles. Different optics were selected to precisely control the direction of light, emphasizing the monument’s proportions and surface texture without glare.
To maintain a consistent aesthetic, the trees surrounding the monument are illuminated with Palco InOut fixtures embedded in the ground. They create a sense of depth and enhance the atmosphere of the place – both symbolically and visually.
