ENVIRONMENTALLY FRIENDLY

    Shopping and entertainment center "ŽALI", located at Visalaukio str. 1, Vilnius, Balsiai is a project implemented by the real estate project developer and manager "Baltisches Haus".
     The goal of the developers was to create a shopping center of the future that would be environmentally friendly and comfortable and human-friendly. "ŽALI" is the first shopping and service center in Lithuania built according to the international sustainable building standard BREEAM. The project has been evaluated by the International BREEAM Center in the UK and meets BREEAM standards. BREEAM is the most widely used standard for assessing the environmental and human impact of sustainable buildings and a certification system that assesses buildings against 48 criteria. These include energy efficiency, health and well-being, environmental pollution, waste disposal, ecology and land use, building management, materials used.

AQUATIC AIR CONDITIONING SYSTEM

   The cooling of the premises of the building "ŽALI" shopping and entertainment center is ensured by the French manufacturer Lennox water chiller EAC812SM4HN, mounted on the roof of the building. Water, as a refrigerant, unlike freon, is environmentally friendly. With the help of this machine, cooled water is supplied to 37 water cartridges of different capacities CWC2ST of the same manufacturer. Thanks to them, the premises are cooled and thus the microclimate of the entire shopping and entertainment center is ensured.
     The refrigeration machine is 75 kw cold power with full hydraulic module and control automation. According to Eurovent certification, it is an energy class A device. Its seasonal efficiency factor SEER is 3.83, which meets the requirements of Directive EN14825. All this equipment is controlled through the building management system BMS.
