Ecology
LED - the most economical source of light.
The LED light sources are far superior to most currently used sodium or metal halogen light sources. Their main advantages are:
- Lower electricity costs (50 percent).
- Ecology (For example if you compare 1000 sodium lamps with 150 W (which are mostly used to illuminate the streets), and lamps with LED light sources, within a year would be saved about 132 tons of CO2)
- Lower operating costs
Additional advantages of LED light sources:
- Tax of the power reduction;
- The cost of staff salaries and other cost reductions;
- A better city / country image;
- Electrical network laying the cables used to lower the price of electricity (due to a lower-power lamps are used for smaller wire cross section).
Using lamps with LED light sources also gives indirect economic benefit to the state:
- Pollution tax reduction (due to lower power consumption the emission to the atmosphere of CO2 is reduced);
- Reduction of the cost of utilization (our LED lighting will serve about 30 years, so you do not have to change the lamp, and thus do not utilize them. LED utilization is much more simpler than other light sources);
- Reduction of the costs related with the driver and pedestrian safety (medical expenses, car repairs and other transportation costs, lack of human potential economic value added);
- Decrease of the cost of electricity purchases from foreign countries (i.e. certain cash flows stays in Lithuania);
Our commitment to the environment Sodeca has begun a new stage of study and design of new trends in ventilation which will help to preserve the environment and to make the energy saving which so much concerns today's society.
Our aims are:
- Energy saving and in consequence savings of natural resources and also economic savings
- Improvement in energy efficiency
- Reduction of acoustic contamination
- Protection of environment due to reduction in emissions of CO2
We present to you our EFFICIENT ENERGY APPLICATIONS, in which you can find fans with high-efficiency motors, fans for controlled demand for ventilation and intelligent sensors for controlling the fans.
The new applications of Sodeca in favour of the environment
According to studies carried out, the EU could save 200.000 million kW of electricity annually by improving the efficiency of the electric motors that are used in industry. This would lead to a saving of between 15.000 and 20.000 million euros in energy bills and would avoid the emission of 79 million tons of CO2 into the atmosphere.
In Spain alone, electric motors consume about 60% of the energy that is used in industry, with the result that, by using SODECA fans equipped with high-efficiency motors we can make an energy saving true and favour the environment.
